Privacy Policy

Last updated June 26, 2026

This policy explains what dogtraininglist.com (“we,” “us”) collects and how we use it. We try to collect as little as possible, and we never sell your personal information.

What we collect

  • Things you send us. When you use our contact form, ask a question, or add or claim a trainer listing, we receive what you type: your name, email, and the details of your message or listing.
  • Newsletter and lead-magnet signups. If you ask for the Reactive Dog Calm-Down Starter Kit or our updates, we collect your email address to send it and to email you occasionally.
  • Basic technical data. Like most websites, our host records standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. We do not use these to identify you personally.

How we use it

  • To answer your messages and manage trainer listings.
  • To deliver the resources you request and send occasional updates.
  • To keep the site secure and working.

Who we share it with

We use a small set of trusted service providers to run the site. Your data passes through them only so we can provide what you asked for:

  • Form handling and email: our shared form processor, Google Sheets, and Resend store and route messages you submit.
  • Email list: MailerLite manages newsletter and lead-magnet emails.
  • Hosting and delivery: Hostinger and Cloudflare serve the site.
  • Map: the trainer directory map loads tiles from OpenStreetMap.
  • Affiliate links: when you click an affiliate link, Amazon may set its own cookie under its policies.

We do not sell your information or share it for unrelated advertising.

Affiliate cookies

Some outbound product links are affiliate links. If you click one, the retailer may store a cookie so we can be credited for a purchase. This is standard for affiliate programs and costs you nothing. See our affiliate disclosure for details.

Your choices

  • You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email.
  • You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you have sent us. Just contact us and we will help.

Children

This site is meant for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site grows. When we do, we will change the date at the top. Questions? Contact us.
